Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 55

Hello friends! Today I'm playing along with PKS Skecth Challenge 55. Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

The card is a standard A2. The dinosaur, from Create A Critter Cricut cartridge, is cut at 2". I just used card stock that I had from stock. I couldn't find my white gel pen because I wanted to draw in some stitches for his edges. I used the Swiss dots embossing folder for the yellow piece. The blue edges were inked with the same ink that I stamped my sentiment from Hot Off the Press. (I know I use this set a lot. I promise, some of then stamps on my wish list will be moving into the cart soon.)

This card is for my nephew, and we're celebrating his birthday today with some delicious rainbow cake made by my super talented sister-in-law! : ) Doesn't it look so pretty??? Awesome Job, Nan!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous day, everyone!

Happy BEAR-day!

Hello friends! Time for a masculine card. Paula at More Than Favors is having their weekly WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge for a masculine card. Coincidentally, Birthday Sundaes is also doing a masculine birthday card challenge this week. Super, super fun.

The card is 4.25" x 5". I had originally prepared this card to be the standard 5.5" x 4.25". However, my daughter and nephew got to playing with some of my craft paper today, including the base of this card, so I had to trim the edges a bit since it had a few tears.

This bear is from Create A Critter; cut at 3.25". I am loving this cartridge. I would like to try and make every critter on here! ... we'll see...

Recipe
Paper - mostly stash, patterned paper is from Me and My Big Ideas
Ink - Color Box Chalk Ink
Stamps - Hot Off the Press Tiny Words and Images
Cartridge - Create a Critter, Fabulous Finds (for sentiment)
Other - EK Success Border Punch, Corner Punch, Cuttlebug Candy Cane Stripes Embossing Folder, pop dots, Zig 2-way glue pen.

Hope you like it. Feel free to play along for the Wacky Wendesday and Birthday Sundaes Challenges!

Have a fabulous day!

It's Raining BABIES! - Baby Shower Card

HOLA! It is seriously raining babies. For my project today, I am sharing a baby shower card. The shower itself has a Safari Theme so I thought I would go along with it. My sister had asked me to make this card for her friend and I immediately thought of the Create a Critter Cartridge. I had decided to use the Giraffe, but ended up cutting the Lion and Elephant along with it. Here's my card. ENJOY!

Recipe

Paper - Cardstock from stash
Stamp - Hot Off the Press Tiny Words and Images
Ink - Stampin Up Close to Cocoa

Have a Fabulous Day!
